Part 1 . Scope and Acceptance
1.1 Coverage
The rules below apply to this website and to any LEON Casino account opened through it. Subject matter: registration, account upkeep, identity checks, funding and payouts, casino and sportsbook play, promotional offers, and the player protection settings attached to every account.
Two related documents sit outside this one. Personal information is dealt with in the privacy policy. Storage on your device is dealt with in the cookie policy. Promotions bring conditions of their own, and where those differ from anything here, the promotion's conditions win for that promotion and change nothing else on the account.
1.2 How you accept, and how changes take effect
Registration is acceptance. Completing the sign-up form binds you to this document, with no separate signature step.
Amendments happen. Payment providers alter their rules, licence conditions move, products get rebuilt. When they do, a revised version replaces this one, carrying a fresh effective date, and anything significant is flagged inside the account so it does not depend on you rereading the page. Play after a revision lands means the new version binds you. A player who dislikes a change can stop playing and take their balance out, once verification is complete and any live bonus condition has run its course.
Part 2 . Your Account
2.1 The one-account rule
Each player gets one account. The test is applied across person, household, device and payment method, and it is checked rather than assumed.
Extra accounts get closed when found. Promotions taken through them are cancelled and winnings traceable to those promotions can be withheld. Where the second registration existed to claim an offer twice, the operator may keep what the offer produced and hand back what the player put in. Locked out of an older account? Ask support to recover it. Registering again turns a support ticket into a breach.
2.2 Identity checks
Verification runs before any first payout, and earlier if an automated check queries something. It comes from anti-money-laundering duties written into the operating licence, which is also why support cannot waive it.
| Document | Purpose | When |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID (Australian driver licence or passport) | Confirms who you are and that you are over 18 | Standard |
| Proof of address | Confirms where you live | Standard |
| Payment method confirmation | Ties the card or wallet to you | Standard |
| Source of funds evidence | Explains where larger sums originate | Larger transactions, or on request after a flag |
Photographs from a phone are accepted as long as the whole document is in frame, in focus and unaltered. Expired documents are refused. Once the file is complete, payouts open up, the caps that sit on unverified accounts come off, and later withdrawals no longer trigger a fresh review from zero. A player who will not finish the process keeps their balance but cannot take it out.
2.3 Age
Eighteen is the minimum, without exception, and it is proven at verification rather than trusted from a date typed into a form. Signing up below that age breaches this agreement whatever was entered at the time.
Discovery of an underage holder suspends the account on the spot. Bets are void, winnings do not stand, and deposits less any withdrawals return by whichever payment method funded them, once identity is settled. Nothing else survives: no bonus, no accrued benefit, no discretionary exception.
2.4 Idle accounts
Leave an account untouched for a long stretch, with neither a sign-in nor a transaction against it, and it is marked dormant. That marker is administrative. It does not close the account, it does not take the balance, and it does not levy a charge against it.
Waking it up means signing in. If the identity documents on file lapsed while you were away, fresh copies are needed before a payout clears, because verification has to be current at the moment money moves rather than at the moment it was first approved. Plan for that if you are coming back after a couple of years.
Part 3 . Money In and Money Out
3.1 Methods, limits and timing
Visa, Mastercard and Skrill serve Australian players, and balances are kept in Australian dollars. A deposit reaches the balance as soon as the provider confirms it.
Every method carries its own floor and ceiling. Both appear in the cashier while you are signed in, and the cashier is the authority here; figures republished elsewhere age badly. Payouts travel back along the route the money arrived by, where the provider supports that, which is an anti-money-laundering norm rather than a house preference. How long a payout takes turns on which method you chose and on whether verification is finished. Provider fees, where any apply, are disclosed on screen before you commit to the transaction.
3.2 Withdrawal tiers and currency
Payout capacity is banded. Which band applies depends on how much you have deposited in total over the life of the account, so the weekly and monthly ceilings climb as that total climbs. Nothing is bought and no subscription is involved.
Exact ceilings, and the deposit totals marking the boundary between one band and the next, are published inside your account and in the operator's full terms. They are revised periodically, so check them there before planning a large payout rather than relying on a figure copied into a page like this one.
Amounts stated in another currency convert at the rate the operator applies on the day of the transaction, which means the equivalent in dollars shifts a little with the market. A sum larger than a band ceiling is not refused; it is released in instalments across consecutive periods.
3.3 The 5% commission on deposits taken out without play
Read this clause even if you skip the rest of Part 3.
Money paid in and pulled straight back out, with no real play between the two, can have a commission of 5% deducted from the amount returned. That is written into the operator's published terms and it is the one deduction of its kind on the platform.
The logic is cost. Every deposit and every payout carries processing fees and compliance work, and an account cycling funds without gameplay generates both while generating nothing else. Casino-side, insufficient activity means what the operator's terms define it to mean. Sportsbook-side, it hinges on stakes placed under a minimum odds figure, because a bet at very short odds shifts money without putting much of it at risk. The odds figure in force is stated in those same terms.
Practically: play with the deposit and the clause never applies to you. Change your mind before playing and it might, so raise it with support before you submit the payout request rather than after the deduction appears.
Part 4 . Bonuses and Promotions
4.1 Two separate systems
Casino promotions and sportsbook promotions do not share machinery. Qualification differs, the wagering mechanics differ and the clocks differ, so experience with one tells you nothing reliable about the other.
Sportsbook offers in particular move around between campaigns: multipliers change, qualifying odds change, the window changes. Read the conditions attached to the specific offer each time you opt in.
4.2 Free Bets
One Free Bet buys one selection. It cannot be broken into smaller bets and it cannot be half spent with the balance kept for later.
A winning Free Bet credits the return less the value of the bet itself, since that value was never yours. Even odds therefore hand back the same amount you were given rather than twice it. A losing Free Bet costs you nothing from your cash balance. Every Free Bet has an expiry date, and one that expires unplayed is not reissued.
4.3 What each game category contributes to wagering
Games clear a wagering requirement at different speeds, and picking the wrong category can multiply the work by ten. Percentages vary between offers, but the ranking below holds across them.
| Category | Typical contribution | Practical effect |
|---|---|---|
| Pokies and slots | Highest, and usually the full rate | The intended route for clearing a casino bonus |
| Live casino and table games | Substantially reduced, sometimes zero | Slow going, and under some offers pointless |
| Video poker | Reduced | Low house edge under optimal play, so it is discounted |
| Excluded titles | Nothing | Also risks breaching the bonus terms outright |
Every campaign publishes its own percentages and its own excluded list beside the offer. Look at both before the first spin. Turnover already generated on a discounted category cannot be reclassified afterwards, whatever the reason for the mistake.
4.4 Turning a multiplier into a number
Wagering is written as a multiplier. It attaches either to the bonus on its own or to the bonus plus the deposit that qualified for it, and it tells you the total stake that has to run through eligible games before bonus money turns into money you can withdraw.
The worked example below uses invented figures for illustration only. Multipliers depend on the campaign, and the one binding you is printed in the conditions of the offer you accepted.
Take a bonus of A$150 attached to a 25x requirement on the bonus alone. That is A$3,750 of stakes on games counting at the full rate. Move to a category counting at 10% and a A$20 spin registers as A$2 against the target, so reaching the same A$3,750 now demands ten times the turnover.
Check two things before opting in, then: the size of the multiplier, and whether the deposit is folded into the base. The second detail roughly doubles the workload when it applies.
4.5 Bet size ceiling during wagering
While bonus funds are in play, a ceiling applies to each individual bet or spin. It stops a requirement being cleared through a handful of oversized stakes. Some games enforce it at the point of the bet; elsewhere it is checked afterwards against your session history.
Going over the ceiling can cancel the bonus along with anything won from it, and the fact that a game accepted the stake is not a defence. The figure sits in the offer conditions. Among all the ways a completed bonus gets reversed later, this is the most frequent, and it usually happens to players who raise their stake near the end of a long wagering run.
4.6 Deadlines
Offers expire twice: once if you never claim them, once again if the wagering is unfinished when the window shuts. At that second point the bonus balance and anything riding on it are removed from the account.
Windows differ between campaigns, and the countdown normally begins the moment the bonus lands rather than the next time you sign in. Before opting in, compare the deadline against how often you realistically play. Declining an offer you cannot finish costs nothing; chasing one you cannot finish costs a fortnight of bad decisions.
4.7 Eligibility and abuse
One bonus per person and per account, with the same test applied to a household, an email address, a payment method and an IP address. Where two accounts coincide on any of those, promotional eligibility stays with one of them, and that is the usual explanation behind an offer that will not apply.
Also treated as abuse: hedged or coordinated low-risk betting arranged to clear wagering without genuine exposure, taking an offer while intending to cash out before its conditions are satisfied, and funding an account with somebody else's card or wallet. Established abuse removes the bonus, voids the winnings connected to it and can restrict the account. A big win by itself proves nothing and is not abuse, and no part of this clause permits a legitimate result to be withheld.
Part 5 . Player Protection
5.1 Controls on the account
Account settings carry a responsible gambling area, and everything in it is self-applied.
| Control | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Refuses deposits past a ceiling you set per day, week or month | The strongest of the five |
| Wagering limit | Caps total stakes across the period you pick | Works on recycled winnings too |
| Session limit and reality check | Closes a sitting at a set length; interrupts play with elapsed time and net position | Interval is yours to choose |
| Temporary self-exclusion | Shuts the account to play for a fixed period | Cannot be cut short, by you or by support |
| Permanent self-exclusion | Retires the account | No cooling-off, no reinstatement, no exceptions |
Tightening any control happens instantly on confirmation. Loosening one waits out a cooling-off period, and the old setting governs until that period ends. Where an exclusion begins with money in the account, the balance is paid back to you after the usual identity check.
5.2 Help from outside the platform
Questionnaires published by independent gambling support bodies measure your own play more usefully than anything written by a company that takes your bets, for the obvious reason.
Australians can reach Gambling Help Online (gamblinghelponline.org.au). The service costs nothing, keeps what you say confidential, runs every hour of every day, and takes contacts from players and from the people around them, by chat or by email counselling. Blocking software installed on a device, and gambling blocks offered on cards by several Australian banks, work outside any operator's reach and pair well with an account-level exclusion. The responsible gambling page on this site sets all of it out in detail.
Part 6 . Legal and Disputes
6.1 Who operates the platform
Bluewave Interactive N.V. . runs LEON Casino on licence № OGL/2024/1161/0454, issued out of the Comoros by Curaçao Gaming Authority. LEON as a brand dates back to 2008. Those identifiers are printed in the site footer so they can be checked independently.
Read that as what it is. The permit is not Australian, and this document does not present it as one. Australian law makes no provision for licensing online casino play here, which means no site offering pokies to this market holds a domestic authorisation, and any operator claiming to hold one is describing something that does not exist.
6.2 Applicable law and language
Whatever is not resolved under clause 6.3 falls to be decided under the law of the jurisdiction that issued the operating licence, which is the law governing this agreement.
Translated versions of these terms exist. Where a translation and the English text disagree, the English text governs, since the operator maintains that text and its licence conditions attach to it.
6.3 Complaints
Start with support, through live chat or the published support address, quoting the email on the account and any transaction reference. Most matters finish at that stage.
| Type of complaint | Typical handling |
|---|---|
| General enquiry or account query | Acknowledged on arrival, answered within a few business days |
| Dispute over a specific game round | Longer, since the round has to be retrieved from the studio's server logs, and those logs settle what the game actually did |
| Verification or payment dispute | Similar timescale, driven by the checks each stage requires |
Unhappy with the answer? Escalate in three steps. Formal review by the operator's complaints team first. Then the independent dispute resolution body named in the operator's complete terms. Then the Curaçao licensing authority behind the permit in clause 6.1, which has the power to act against a licensee, and that power is what makes the step meaningful rather than ceremonial.
One limitation stated openly: no Australian authority appears on that path, because the service holds no Australian permit. Anyone weighing up an offshore account should understand that before depositing rather than during a dispute.
6.4 Contact
Questions about this document go to live chat while you are signed in, or to the support address printed in the footer. Quote the clause number and have the email address on the account to hand. A specific question about clause 3.3 gets a specific answer; a general enquiry gets a general one.
Every account carries ceilings on deposits, on total stakes and on session length, plus reality checks, temporary time-outs and self-exclusion. All of it is free, and tightening any of it applies the moment you confirm.
The platform admits over-18s only. Our responsible gambling page goes through every tool in detail, and Gambling Help Online runs a free, private service across Australia at any hour.
